During a salary increase campaign, it's vital to respect the predefined budget.
To help you in this task, Qomben allows you to set guidelines for each manager, in order to define the budget allocated to each team.
Today, there are two ways of allocating a budget per manager:
- Manually
- Automatically
There are several advantages to automatic allocation:
- No need to manually calculate the budgets to be allocated to each manager.
- Reduced errors thanks to automated budget allocation.
- Significant time savings in the compensation management process.
1. Manual allocation
- Create guidelines by applying the necessary filters for each compensation item.
For each guideline, the number of employees concerned is displayed.
- Define a minimum and/or maximum percentage increase for each guideline.
A preliminary computation is done for each field, the amount corresponding to the chosen percentage increase is displayed below the input.
- Once the guidelines have been entered, click on the "Dispatch" button to open the manager budget window.
- Enter the budget for each manager.
- You can choose wether all (or just specifics) budgets should be mandatory or not. If a budget is mandatory, the manager will not be able to exceed it.
- Once the budgets have been allocated, validate the distribution by clicking “Apply”. Each manager is then allocated a budget, enabling you to move on to the next step.
2. Automatic allocation
